On any given night in the quiet village of Freedom, New Hampshire, there is sound emanating from the centuries-old barn recording studio that is the home of Solo Saloon Studios. This is where music producer, vocalist, and writer Christian Essex explores an auditory journey while raising his two sons. His latest studio album, "Without Space" (2022) is a pop/rock exposition of love, heartache, and attempted redemption.

Christian pioneers the musical realm with a creative determination that began in the 1980s with a dual cassette boombox and a junk guitar, continued in the 1990s with a Tascam 4 track cassette recorder, until finding safe harbor in his current modern digital studio wonderland built in a 200+ year old post and beam barn.
